The fee to park at FCCTC is $25. Students may not drive to school until the fee is paid and a physical parking pass is issued. CMS students having either a 1st or last period class or wishing to transport students other than siblings must apply for a parking permit through CMS.

Please review the following information. Your student will review this information and sign a physical copy at school. *****You have been granted special permission to drive based on your individual circumstances. Please be aware that you must abide by the rules and regulations set forth in the Student Handbook. Failure to comply with these rules and regulations will result in immediate suspension of your driving privileges for the remainder of the semester, in addition to disciplinary action. Every year, one or two students ignore these rules and lose their driving privilege very early in the year. We prefer that no one loses their permit. Please abide by these rules and regulations. *****Parking Lot Guidelines***** (1) Student drivers arrive from 7:45-8:00 AM and dismiss at 2:15 PM, regardless of sending school. On early dismissal days, Chambersburg drivers dismiss at 12:15 PM. All other schools dismiss with their sending schools. You may not pull out until the buses have left. (2) Only siblings are approved as daily passengers. (3)Students must park vehicle in designated parking space. (4) Only vehicles of students with approved work orders are permitted in program areas. These vehicles must be returned to the student parking area before 2:00 p.m. if work is completed. (5) Students are not permitted to leave from program areas at the end of the day with their vehicle. (6) Once the student drives onto school property, he/she is to proceed to his/her assigned parking space by the nearest route and will immediately disembark and go directly to his/her assigned room. Congregation in the parking lot is strictly prohibited. (7) Students driving on school property shall not exceed the speed limit of 15 miles per hour. (8) Students who drive to school may not operate their cars during the school day. The car may not be driven until dismissal time, except as approved by the administration. (9) Students may not go to their cars during the day unless permission is granted in the office. (10) On school property, a school bus has the right of way. (11) Remember, it is a privilege to drive and park at our school. Careless and reckless driving will be referred to the Pennsylvania State Police for further action. *****Passenger Guidelines***** I understand that I may not transport anyone to or from school without first turning in notes from my parent/guardian and the parent/guardian of the rider AND receiving approval from the office. If I violate this rule, I will lose my parking permit (in addition to otherdiscipline) and no refund will be given. *****Parking Lot Procedures***** (1) You must follow the directional flow of traffic. (2) You must pull headfirst into your spot and back out. (3) You must not drive across any parking spaces. (4) Most days staff members will direct traffic at the end of the day. If staff members are not present, you must make a complete stop at your lane’s stop bar and then wait in turn. At dismissal, you should expect to see the car in front of you pull out, then a car from each of the other lanes before it is your turn. *****I understand that I must follow these procedures at all times. Even a single offense may result in the loss of my parking permit and no refund will be given.******

I understand that my student may not drive another student on a regular basis (unless it is a sibling). Single day passengers are only permitted with prior approval by FCCTC administration, and are not approved on the same day as the request.*

My student and I both understand these rules and understand that the penalty is suspension and revocation of driving privleges.We are unable to abide by this rule, and therefore no longer desire a parking pass.
