RCS New Department Checkpoint
  • New Department Checkpoint

  • Our New Department Checkpoint is designed to reaffirm that the school, family, and church partnership is continuing as expected and that families are still in agreement with the school's Biblical beliefs. The New Department Checkpoint is required for all families of students moving into a new department, meaning current students going into 4th, 7th, and 9th grades.

The Continued Enrollment Checkpoint will include:

    • Church Involvement Reference Form
    • Statement of Essential Beliefs
    • Statement on Gender, Sex, and Marriage

To be clear, these statements are not new positions but rather are what Ridgeview Baptist Church and Ridgeview Christian School have always believed. Due to recent events in culture over the last few years, it has become necessary to express the ministry’s stance on these issues in this way.

Especially in the areas of gender, sex, and marriage, the issue is much larger than what we can put into a brief statement. If reading these documents brings up questions that you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Woody at jwoody@ridgeviewchristian.com.

Before you fill out the form, you will need to do the following:

    • Read the two Statement documents attached to your initial email
    • Find your pastor’s email address to put in the Church Involvement Reference Form on the last page of this form.

  • Please remember that in addition to completing this form, you must also fill out the Church Involvement Reference - Contact Form. You will need your pastor's email address in order to fill out the form.

  • Church Involvement Reference

We as a school continue to be committed to the truth of reality as revealed in God’s Word, which is our final authority. We are also committed to our “Third Place” strategy of coming alongside and behind the home and the church as the two primary places God has instituted for the discipleship of children and teenagers.

RCS requires that at least one parent must be a professing believer in Jesus Christ and be active in a local, like-minded, Bible-believing church with their student.

Please fill out the following information regarding your Pastor or Youth Pastor. We will contact them using this information to request a recommendation.
