A Contract is only as good as the parties who construct it. We view a contract as a statement of purpose, a statement that helps bind the buyer and breeder together for the good of the Bulldog. A contract gives parties certain specific rights, obligations and reasonable expectations. It should be used as a starting point for what should be an excellent, long-term relationship. We have based EVERYTHING in this contract on the health and welfare of the puppy now and in THEIR future! Our number one priority is to make sure that ALL of our bulldogs are taken care of properly!!!

Contract Type: Pet Home Only No Breeding Rights

The buyer will provide the said puppy with adequate food and fresh water at all time, shelter, affection, medical care, including all necessary shots and medication recommended by the veterinarian.

The Buyer will provide the dog with veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury, and shall take puppy to a veterinarian at least once a year for an annual examination and routine vaccinations and deworming. The Buyer will give Seller permission to talk to vet or provide a copy of records if Seller feels buyer hasn’t taken puppy to vets for said puppies' life.

The Buyer will provide the dog with human care and maintain it in accordance with all current and state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the buyer resides.

The Buyer will provide the dog with a fully fenced yard or other humane means of exercise. The puppy SHALL NOT be kept constantly chained or constantly OUTDOORS, due to the fact that English Bulldogs are sensitive to HEAT (over 70) and COLD (below 40).

The Buyer will keep the dog as a household pet and shall never use it for breeding purposes without breeder consent/contract. The dog will NEVER be used as an attack dog or a guard dog.

The Buyer will NEVER mistreat or abuse the dog. If this happens the dog will be immediately given back to breeder with no money back. If the puppy shows signs of neglect or abuse, ownership of the puppy will immediately be return to Angela Stiffler without any return of money to the buyer.

The Buyer will provide a collar/harness with an identification tag for the dog to wear at all times especially while outside.

The dog will reside at the buyer's address. If the dog cannot be kept by the buyer, the buyer MUST let the breeder know immediately, and be returned to breeder.

The Buyer will keep Breeder updated on said Puppy for the term of said puppy's life, with updated through text or on Breeders FB group Stiffler Bulldogs Families once a month for the first year. After 1st year and on buyer will update Breeder every 3 months. If Buyer has Facebook, Buyer agrees to join the group Stiffler Bulldogs Families on Facebook, post updates and pictures thru there.

The Buyer will NEVER Media/internet blast Seller/Kennel or contact any other Buyer of Breeders in anyway other than on the Stiffler Bulldogs Families Group.

The Seller recommends Buyer keeps the puppy on NuVet for the entire life of puppy using Breeders code http://www.nuvet.com/167800 only to order.

The buyer will provide the Breeder with any medical issues/disorders so Breeder can put it in their records to help better the breed.

The Breeder will NOT be responsible for any veterinarian fees or costs. The buyer is aware that this is their own responsibility. The Breeder will ALWAYS offer, free of cost and concern, her/his own personal friendship, consultation, advice, support and whatever else is required throughout the period of ownership.

The buyer agrees to take the puppy to a veterinarian within seven (7) days for a physical to determine the health of the bulldog. The vet check form must be filled out by the vet and returned to breeder after examination is complete within 5 days from date of visit. Via mail or email

The Buyer agrees that it is the Buyer's responsibility to accept the puppy as described. The Breeder and buyer has acknowledged a full disclosure of the health, habits, and temperament of the puppy. The buyer agrees that the breeder is no way liable or responsible for any damage, or accident resulting from the puppy/dog while in Buyers care.

The Breeder guarantees the puppy is in good health and has received appropriate medical vaccinations at weeks 6 and 9 and care including deworming's at 3, 6 and 9 weeks. Breeder will provide the buyer with chart detailing treatment that the puppy has received under breeders care, and also the future care the vet feels essential to the puppy's well being.

Should the puppy be diagnosed within the first 12 months of life with any congenital or genetically medical disorder which is considered by two unassociated veterinarians to be LIFE threatening, Seller will upon provision of veterinary reports (Necropsy report by an accredited diagnostic lab is if puppy dies), provide buyer with replacement puppy of equal quality and value $ _____________ as such puppy is available to the breeder.

This guarantee does NOT cover what in the Bulldog breed is considered more common and not life threatening including but not limited to: Cherry eye, entropion, ectropion, minor loose hips or knees (that often happens with age), allergies (food, environmental or seasonal), coccidia, giardia, soft palate, stenotic nares, inverted tails, fertility parasitic, fungal, or bacterial infection, demodex, seasonal alopecia, or other skin or coat related issues.

There is no guarantee that said pup is show able nor breed able, even though the potential is there.

The Buyer understands that the said pup is pet only. If said pup is bred at anytime of said puppies life the puppy and it’s offspring is to be surrendered to Angela Stiffler and Buyer will have to pay Breeder a fee of $________________ (price of 1 pup).

Pet only rights are given, registration papers will be marked Limited. Buyer also agrees to register said puppy within 30 days of signing contract.

Pet only rights, Buyer agrees to have said pup fixes no sooner than 12 months and no later than 18 months.

Buyer agrees to return Spay/Neuter certificate to Breeder within 5 days from date on certificate. Return via mail or email

Microchip will be registered in new owner's name. This will be done the day of pick up. If at anytime breeder gets contacted on puppy being found, breeder will contact buyer to try to get puppy back to buyer. If breeder cannot get a hold of buyer within 7 days said puppy will be forfeited back to breeder. If this occurs 3 times, puppy will be forfeited on the 3rd time back to seller.

Seller agrees said puppy is being bought for their self, no one else.

The Seller understands and agrees said puppy CANNOT be given away or sold to any other individual or research company without consent of Angela Stiffler. The Buyer certifies that they are not acting as an agent for another person/company in the purchase of this puppy and will not resell this dog to anyone else or any type of mass producing business "puppy mill". In the event the Buyer cannot keep said puppy or can’t provide proper care for the puppy, the puppy will be returned to Angela Stiffler. Buyer will NOT euthanize, take puppy to an animal shelter, or breed rescue.

The Buyer agrees to let Breeder do 1 scheduled and up to 2 surprise home checks a year if Breeder feels puppy is not being care for properly for the whole duration of puppy's life.

The buyer and breeder will keep each other informed of their current addresses and contact information. At any point that ANY contact information like address, phone #'s, or email changes the buyer and breeder will update each other.

Even though now he/she is a part of your family, he/she will also always be a part of our family. If you are not able to take care of your puppy, you must bring them back to breeder at buyers' expense. We will find a loving home for him/her or we will keep him/her. The buyer must understand the BULLDOG breed, and special consideration must be given when buying one of these dogs.

Failure to return vet check form or spay/neuter form can and will result in the loss of ANY buyers' health guarantee and may result in the loss of your bulldog.

If something happens to you the dog will be returned back to breeder, unless you give Angela Stiffler in write who you would like the dog to go to. (HAS TO BE NOTARIZED)

Cost of litigation: In the event of ANY litigation over the terms of this contract, the cost of all legal fees absorbed by the party who is at fault by the court of jurisdiction, in the event the Buyer Breeches this contract, you can be made to pay Breeder up to 2 times the cost of puppy. Also, additional consequential damages imposed by the court on the buyer of an amount not to exceed $8,000 for the defamation of the seller/kennel and other damages. This contract is entered in Hendricks County, Indiana and will be bound by Indiana law.

At ANY time that we have to tell you to surrender the dog and the dog has to be returned back to us you have 3 days to return the dog or there could be a fine up to $50 a day or legal fees if we have to go to court.

Breeder: Agrees that if for any reason said dog is not working out for the buyer, breeder will take dog back at any time in said dogs’ life. If dog is returned for a non-genetic (or non-medical) issue related to said dog, then a refund may be available under the following terms and at the breeders’ discretion.

*If dog is returned within 7 days of date of sale, then 75% refund of purchase price is possibly available.
*If dog is returned within 14 days of date of sale, then 50% refund of purchase price is possibly available.
*If dog is returned within 21 days of date of sale, then 25% refund of purchase price is possibly available.
*If dog is returned within 28 days of date of sale, then 10 % refund of purchase price is possibly available.
*If dog is returned any time after 28 days past the date of sale, then no refund is available.

Any refunds issued are not due to buyer until said dog is resold or the next litter of puppies is sold in full, whichever occurs first. If said dog has been mistreated, fed a non-recommended diet or given dangerous drugs, then the breeder has the right to deny any refund.

Purchase price refund does not include the deposit amount as deposits are non-refundable.

*SAID DOG MUST BE RETURNED WITH ALL PAPERWORK AND PUPPY PACK ITEMS THAT IT WAS SOLD WITH. FAILURE TO RETURN THESE ITEMS IN GOOD CONDITION WILL RESULT IN A LESSER REFUND AND POSSIBLY NO REFUND AT ALL, TO BE DETERMINED BY BREEDER*

Buyer is responsible for transporting said puppy/dog. By denying the breeder’s veterinarian of choice access to the dog for the second opinion, any compensation due to buyer will be delayed indefinitely until the exam is fulfilled.

By signing below both parties agree to fulfill the terms set forth in the contract.
