A Chromebook will be available for parents of full-time Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD (NVLA) students to check-out for the students who do not have a home device.

You will need to schedule a pick-up date and time below.

When picking-up the Chromebook bring your ID and your Student's CCSD student number.

I understand that the loaned equipment is the property of Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD and must be returned at the time of withdrawal from NVLA at CCSD, or one week prior to the end of the semester and/or end of the school year, if courses are taken for the entire year. / Entiendo que el equipo prestado es propiedad de Nevada Learning Academy en CCSD y debe devolverse al momento de retirarse de NVLA en CCSD, o una semana antes del final del semestre y / o final del año escolar, si los cursos se toman durante todo el año.
NVLA equipment not promptly returned will be reported to CCSD Police and the parent/guardian may be charged with embezzlement of CCSD property, punishable under NRS 205.300 - Embezzlement.

OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT NOTICE
The Internet can bring a wealth of educational material to the classroom, but it may also contain material that is objectionable. The Clark County School District filters web sites believed to be inappropriate for students. However, no filtering system is perfect. This is especially true when computers are checked out for use at home, where home networks are utilized. The District cannot and does not represent that inappropriate or objectionable material can be completely filtered.

Computers checked out from Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD are not filtered because it prevents students from accessing resources that may be required for their course(s). Parent(s) and guardian(s) must consider this in deciding whether to permit their children access to the District's computer network resources and using computers checked out from the NVLA for use at home.

AVISO DE CONTENIDO OBJETABLE

I understand that analytics tools (e.g., Clever EdTech Analytics) are employed on user accounts as an extension and the tools will be enabled when a student is logged into a Chromebook or Chrome browser on any operating systems with their nv.ccsd.net user account, regardless of whether the device was issued by CCSD or is a personal device.
