1) Please provide a 250-word description of your project we can use in promotional materials (website and newsletter).
2) Please identify your project goals and objectives. How do anticipated project outcomes align with the purpose of this fund? (gender equality, FIAP action areas and/ or other SDGs)
3) What activities are you proposing to meet these objectives? Please describe how, when and where these will occur.
4) List and describe any project partners and what strengths they bring to enhance project outcomes. What are the respective roles and responsibilities of each partner?
5) How are you being innovative* and testing new ideas?
6) How will you know you have been successful in achieving your goals and objectives for the project? How will this be captured? (Keeping in mind that the testing of new ideas is key… you may not succeed in attracting 2,000 people to your event but what did you learn from that? What worked well and what didn’t? etc.)
7) How does this project fit within the broader scope of your organization's work?
8) What are some potential longer-term outcomes or impacts that this project may contribute to?

* Innovation: The ICN applies FIT's definition of innovation, which aligns with the Whistler Principles to Accelerate Innovation for Impact Development and Global Affairs Canada’s definition of development innovation, which states that innovation is “a process, a mindset, and means to enable new or improved locally-driven solutions for better results and greater impact, which benefit and empower the poorest and most vulnerable, including women and girls.” Examples of innovation include business models, policy practices, approaches, partnerships, technologies, behavioural insights, financing mechanisms or ways of delivering products and services. Innovative solutions must create inclusive opportunities for local communities from project conception to execution. For example, women and girls should play a role in project design, testing, learning and adoption of solutions.
