Once your LLC is filed, the registered agent office will receive documents via mail, and will be responsible with keeping up with the quarterly and annual filing requirements for the LLC. If you don't have a physical address with normal business hours or if you don't want to handle the annual filing requirements for the LLC, then you have the option to have a registered agent office take care of this business aspect for you.
