Agreement

All participants of the Family Enterprise Canada Mentorship Program must understand and agree to the following requirements in order to participate.

I agree, understand and acknowledge the following terms and conditions of this program:

Confidentiality: For the Mentorship Program to work, all mentors/mentees must feel comfortable sharing openly and honestly, with no concern that personal information would ever be shared with anyone else. I understand that my mentor/mentee may potentially share highly confidential or sensitive information with me. I understand and agree that I will not share anything that is discussed, or any information introduced during the Mentorship Program with anyone other than with my direct mentor/mentee. This includes but is not limited to my significant other, spouse, family members and/or other mentor/mentees in the Mentorship Program. I understand that I have a moral and ethical responsibility to the mentor/mentee that has entrusted me with their most personal feelings, thoughts and experiences. To break this trust would be a violation of the tenets of mentor/mentee relationship and the Mentorship Program.

Participation: I will make every effort to fully participate in the Mentorship Program as outlined and agreed upon in my program plan with my mentor/mentee. Applicable details from the application form will be shared with only my mentor/mentee ahead of the orientation meeting to help support a successful partnership with my matched mentor/mentee in the Mentorship Program. I understand that participation in the Mentorship Program is a privilege to only members of Family Enterprise Canada*, and that participation in this organization, including the Mentorship Program, comes with an annual renewal fee. I agree that if I choose to no longer belong to Family Enterprise Canada, that I will also resign from the Mentorship Program.
*Family Enterprise Canada includes members in good standing.

Non-Solicitation Policy: I agree and understand that as with all Family Enterprise Canada events and activities, I will not use the Mentorship Program to solicit clients or customers. Family Enterprise Canada provides an environment free from sponsorship and solicitation, and this includes all interactions within the Mentorship Program.

Non-Liability: Family Enterprise Canada, and all its affiliated companies, assumes no responsibility under this Agreement other than to support and provide member services as outlined in our membership agreements. Family Enterprise Canada, and its affiliated companies, will not be responsible for any action of the companies and/or parties in following or declining to follow any advice or recommendation of the members of this program. All advice, experiences and information shared are of those who have shared it and not that of Family Enterprise Canada or its affiliated companies. The parties hereto recognize and agree that the effectiveness and success of any actions undertaken by the participants in response thereto are not guaranteed or warranted by Family Enterprise Canada or its affiliated companies in any respect whatsoever.
