• Islington Environmental Emergency Alliance (IEEA)

    Community Survey
  • We are in a climate emergency – recent floods, fires and landslides are caused by man-made carbon emissions from heating, cooking, transport, and we need to drastically reduce them over the next 10 years.

In 2019 Islington Council declared a climate emergency. Last year they published their Vision 2030 report which sets out how Islington could reduce its carbon emissions to net zero by 2030. Islington says its mission is "Creating a clean and green Islington in response to the Climate Emergency."

Many Islington residents have not heard of the Vision 2030 report. So, an alliance of concerned community groups and individuals have created the Islington Environmental Emergency Alliance (IEEA). The IEEA aims to tell people about the council’s plan for reducing carbon emissions. We want to make sure that Islington keeps the promises they have made.

  • Because Islington hasn't done an official council consultation on their plans, IEEA are contacting community groups and individuals across Islington to find out what people in the borough think about Vision 2030. This short questionnaire will take between 3 - 5 minutes to complete. This survey is completely anonymous - we will not be recording or asking for any personal or private information.

Below is an overview of the actions that the council have announced in their Vision 2030 plan to reduce carbon emissions in Islington to zero by 2030.

Please select how important each of the following planned council actions are for you. If you want you can then make comments or express your concerns about the impact of these changes in the spaces provided below.
