Hair loss is a common complication of weight loss surgery. Maintaining adequate protein intake is important to minimize the hair loss and maintain good health. I will need to eat foods high in protein even though I may not be hungry. On a daily basis, I will need to take recommended amounts of vitamin/mineral supplements.
