Hello! We’re excited that you’ve enrolled your child in our kindergarten program and are busy making plans for the 2021-2022 school year. President Nez has approved schools reopening for in-person learning in small groups using the hybrid learning model. He asks that we also offer a virtual option. With this in mind, we are proposing the following options and schedule for Hanaa’dli kindergarten.
Hybrid Model:
We will cap our enrollment to 10 students and provide morning and afternoon sessions (Monday through Thursday) 5 students in each session, Friday at home working online. Morning Session will run from 8:00 (included breakfast) to 11:30 (includes lunch to go). Afternoon Session will start at 11:30 (lunch provided) and ends at 3:00.
When students are not in the classroom session, they will be expected to complete lessons online and turn in work packets.
Chromebooks and hotspots will be provided – teachers will be monitoring participation and will be reporting to Department of Dine’ Education.
Virtual and Paper-based learning:
Chromebooks and hotspots will be provided – teachers will be monitoring participation and will be reporting to Department of Dine’ Education.
Fridays will be progress monitoring (parents & child come to school) to meet with teachers, turn in work packets and I station work logs.
