Tier 2 Socialization Block Reservation Portal

This portal is only for clients who have been directed to schedule a Tier 2
Dog Gone Smart's Socialization Scale is made up of 3 Tiers:

Tier 1- Dog Easily transitions away from family to our play environment, is happy, comfortable, safe and predictable with other dogs and our staff and enters the playroom with enthusiasm and manners.

Tier 2- Dogs that are conflicted or unsure and need a little more individualized support to feel comfortable in a fast paced social and play environment. Dogs with limited socialization exposure, or dogs that are timid in new environments, or dogs who are overzealous in play and just need some paw-holding to build confidence or respect boundaries to get along with a large group of dogs.

This is a 1 on 1 session with 1 trainer to 1 dog to work on socialization building skills, learning play body languagr and how to play appropriately building a bond with their own trainer on the floor, who will select certain dogs to interact with and creating safe spaces to learn.

Tier 3 - Dogs who are dog selective, dog reactive, have a history of uncomfortable/unpredictable behavior with other dogs or people inside or outside of the home environment, particularly in a social environment. Tier 3 lessons are by appointment only with our behavioral trainer who works to build safe social skills as part of private training. Tier 2 Lessons are done at Dog Gone Smart 15 Cross Street, Norwalk. You must arrive promptly, starting the session late will effect the results. Sessions are 3 hours blocks offered 12-3pm, or 7:30-10:30am depending on the day. Please make sure your dog has not eaten with an hour of arrival. Please make sure your dog is on a securely fitted collar and you have safe control of them as you arrive in the parking. When you arrive please text our curbside text line (203) 919-8143 to let them know you are here for your tier 2 appointment. Thanks!
