Coordinate the Cookie Program for the troop in conjunction with the SU Manager and Council staff.
Be a registered member of the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County for the 2024 membership year.
Must have a completed volunteer background check on file.
Basic Computer skills with e-mail access are required.
Comply with GSUSA and GSSC policies and procedures.

Coordinate the Cookie Program for your Troop.
Work closely with Troop Leader and keep her/him informed of plans for initial sale, catch-up orders and booth sales.
Attend all training meetings for Troop Cookie Managers as scheduled by the Service Unit Cookie Manager.
Deliver and explain sale aids and sale procedures to girls. (Only registered troops may participate.)
Obtain signed parent permission slip for each girl in the troop.
Enter troop order in the eBudde database.
Arrange with Service Unit Cookie Manager the pickup of the troop's product order.
Ensure that girls/parents receive their correct order and sign for all product given to them.
Ensure that the time schedule of the Cookie Program is adhered to.
Accept responsibility for and ensure that products and money are handled properly.
Ensure that all records are kept in accordance with procedures.
Complete Outstanding Account forms for individuals owing money and forward to Council Headquarters with required paperwork.
Know that what you put on social media is permanent, whether you delete it or not. Deleted and old posts on the internet can be tracked down. Please think twice about what you are sharing with the world. You don’t need a poorly chosen Tweet to create havoc for your life, your troop, the Council, or the Girl Scout Movement as a whole. If you have an issue or conflict with another Girl Scout or Council Staff, we kindly ask that you honor the Girl Scout promise and law by addressing the party directly and not through social media.
