Do you know someone who’s been cheering us on from the sidelines, amplifying the impact of Information & Referral (I&R) services, even though they’re not officially in the game? The Friend of Inform Texas Award is our chance to spotlight and celebrate those incredible individuals or organizations outside the I&R field who’ve made a big splash in our world!

This special honor recognizes those who’ve gone above and beyond to promote the power of I&R and help elevate the profession across Texas. Whether it’s a passionate advocate, a supportive partner, or a company that’s had our back, we want to say a big thank you—and let the spotlight shine on them!

Nominees should fall into one of these two categories:

✨ Individual Champion – A non-I&R professional who’s made a meaningful difference in advancing the I&R field.
✨ Community Partner – A business or organization outside of I&R that’s contributed something exceptional to our mission in Texas.

🏅 Award Presentation: Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the Inform Texas Annual Meeting (during the Inform Texas Conference!)
🎥 Can’t make it in person? No worries! Recipients who can’t attend will have the chance to accept their award virtually.

💬 Why They Rock – Tell us why this individual or organization is truly award-worthy! What have they done to uplift and support the Information & Referral (I&R) field in Texas?
📄 Who They Are – Include a short bio or résumé that gives us a sense of their background and awesomeness.
📚 Show the Receipts – Add any supporting materials that help tell their story—news articles, websites, publications, photos, etc. (Basically, anything that backs up how great they are!)
