This award recognizes an exceptional I&R Database Specialist who has not only mastered the art of resource management but also makes it shine. They’re the ones who connect the dots, organize the chaos, and keep the heart of Information & Referral pumping!

🎯 Who’s Eligible?

We’re looking for someone who:
- 💼 Has at least 3 years of experience in the I&R field
- 📚 Is CRS-DC certified
- 🧠 Shows deep knowledge of community services and understands the wide variety of resources available
- 🧩 Demonstrates outstanding understanding and use of the Taxonomy of Human Services and Standards for Professional I&R Services in building and maintaining a resource database
- 🖊️ Has a knack for writing and presenting clear, concise, and helpful resource information
- 🔍 Keeps the resource system accurate, fresh, and reliable—because they know every detail matters!
📝 How to Nominate
- Complete the I&R Database Specialist Award nomination form (copies accepted too!)
- Nominations are welcome from anyone—citizens, nonprofits, public agencies, businesses, schools, military groups, or faith-based organizations.
- The nominee should have done I&R work for nonprofits, charitable orgs, or any group improving access to community services during the previous year.
- Sharing a real-life story? Be sure to change identifying details to protect individual privacy.

🏅 Award Ceremony: Wednesday, April 15, 2026 during the Inform Texas Conference!
🎥 Can’t make it in person? No problem! Recipients can accept their award virtually too!
