• School Lunch Sign-up Form (one per student)

    Students must sign-up to receive school lunch.
  • Ka'ohao School vends our lunches from a local company, One Love Cafe. Our nutritional school lunch program caters to the unique palates of children and their special dietary needs. We are dedicated to providing our community’s children with delicious food creations that are fresh, local, natural & organic when possible.

    The School Lunch Price for the 2021-2022 School Year is free ($0.00) for students. The meal includes:

    • Entree, Wholegrains, Fruits, Vegetables, Choice of Milk
    • Lunches will be made in a Certified Commercial Kitchen
    • Brown Bag Lunches on Field Trip Days

    The school is charged $6 for each lunch that is not picked up by a student. If your child enrolls in the lunch program, they must pick up their lunch each day (unless absent).

    *Please note that Ka’ohao Public Charter School is part of the National School Lunch Program, which offers a free & reduced school lunch price for families that qualify, contact the school office for more info & sign ups.

    All School lunch meals & portions must follow the current National School Lunch Program and USDA dietary guidelines.

    Cancellation of monthly lunch or milk only plans must be made in writing no later than 7 business days prior to the next month to rmaiwela@kaohaoschool.org.

    Students will be automatically enrolled in subsequent months unless we are notified in writing.

    Cancellation of monthly lunch and milk plans must be made in writing no later than 7 business days prior to the next month to rmaiwela@kaohaoschool.org. If you do not cancel your plan, you will be charged.

    Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
