    MAX's office and Harm Reduction Programs will be

    closed Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 to

    Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 for the winter holidays.

     

    Harm reduction dispensing will be available before the closure:

    - Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, 12pm to 7pm

     

    Harm reduction dispensing will be available during the closure by mail only. Orders will be sent out before 12pm on the following dates:

    - Tuesday, December 27th, 2022

    - Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023

     

    Harm reduction dispensing will return to normal service hours:

    - Friday, January 6th, 2023 at 12pm

    • Curbside Pick Up

      We will contact you to let you know when your order will be fulfilled, after that you can drop during our harm reduction hours to pick up your supplies. We will also supply instructions for picking up your order.

      Harm reduction's new curbside pick up hours are 

      Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm to 7pm at the MAX office.

      You don't need to select a date or time and you can come to collect your order any time, during curbside pick up hours, after we have contacted you to let you know your order is ready.

      Unfortunately, right now we are only able to offer delivery on the first and third Wednesdays of the month while we are looking for more volunteer delivery drivers.

      Looking for some Naloxone training?

      MAX has just what you need!

      Every third Tuesday of the month from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, we will be hosting a free virtual Naloxone training session.

      You can register for the next session through Eventbrite.

      We also offer a free self-guided Naloxone training you can take any time!

    • *Unfortunately we do not have 1ml Luer Lock syringes at this time. We are working to get them in stock as quickly as possible.

      **1ml TB syringes are not recommended for intramuscular injections.

      Please note, we have limited access to 1ml syringes, so in order to fill as many orders as possible, we limited the number that can be ordered to 25 syringes per order.

    • In order to support our community members, research partners and MAX and our programming, we will start posting different opportunities in this section, with a particular focus on projects and positions focusing on 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and people who use drugs.

      Type of opportunity: Advisory committee

      Requirements: Looking for individuals with lived or living experience with PnP/party n play/chemsex interested in helping guide MAX's harm reduction programming for folks who PnP.

      Compensation: Committee members are paid for each meeting, and meet 4 to 6 times per year.

      Description: As part of our Harm Reduction Dispensing Program, we are looking for Harm Reduction Delivery Specialists willing and able to get harm reduction materials to those who need it. This can include helping complete orders and delivering the orders to the homes of our community members.

      Compensation: Delivery specialists are reimbursed for milage driven.
