D.EL.ED ADMISSION DETAILS

Please read the following carefully

Intake of seats: The college has an intake of 52 seats, of which 27 are merit seats which are filled from the applications submitted to the Deputy Director of Education. The remaining 25 seats are filled by the management from the applications submitted at the college. There are different application forms for both merit and management seats.

Qualification required: Candidates who have obtained 50% in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidate should not have taken more than three chances to pass the Higher Secondary Examination. Relaxation stipulated by the Govt are applicable to candidates with reservation. Of the total seats 40% is reserved for science, 40% for Humanities and 20% for Commerce.

Age limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 33 years as of 1 July 2025. Relaxation stipulated by the Govt are applicable to candidates with reservation.

Fee: 30,000 Rs per year for merit seats.

        35,000 Rs per year for management seats.

ADMISSION QUOTAS

ADMISSION IN MERIT & MANAGEMENT QUOTA
Admissions can be secured via merit or management quota.

The fee for merit seat  - 30,000 per year.The fee for management seat - 35,000 per year

Admissions to the D.El.Ed Course in the college is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the regulatory bodies namely NCTE and the State Government.

MERIT QUOTA
Applications must be submitted to the office of Deputy Director of Education (DDE) , Ernakulam. Admissions are allotted to the institution by the office of DDE based on merit only. The duly filled application form along with photocopies of mark lists and a fee need to be submitted to the Deputy Director of Education of the district.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA
Application form from the institution will be e-mailed to eligible candidates. Duly filled application form along with photocopies of SSLC, HSC mark lists, TC, conduct certificates and other documents to avail reservation (if applicable) must be submitted to the college.

CANDIDATES CAN APPLY IN BOTH QUOTAS,
but separate applications must be submitted to respective offices.
