Wing and a Prayer
We are a mixed group of men and women from age 18 years through age 65. There are no age limits, that’s just who we are. We get together on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM at our home in Swansea for fellowship, food, prayer, and study of God’s word. Typically we follow most church-wide studies or we engage in bible studies from well-known Christian authors such as Max Lucado, Rick Warren, Les Strobel, and many others. This is a very friendly group focused on improving our understanding of God’s plan in our lives through understanding His word in scripture. We would love to have you join us.
Coffee with Bernie
Monday morning breakfast and coffee at 8am at the FH Campus. Fellowship and study with Bob Nelson and friends. Group founded by the late Rev. Bernie Kneale.
Christian Apologetics - 20's
Our connect group exists to connect men and women to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip them to always be prepared to give an answer to everyone for the hope that they have through Jesus. The word “apologetic” means “to make an argument”, or to give a defense of your position. Christian apologetics is a field of Christian theology that presents historical, reasoned, and evidential bases for Christianity, and to offer a defense against objections. Know why you believe what you believe. As a group, we tackle challenging topics, such as “If God is so good, then why so much evil?”, and others.
The House of Rock
The House of Rock is an ongoing Bible study group that focuses on the most powerful tool we have as Christians. The Word of God. Our goal is to become wise men and women who build their house on the rock of God’s word. Every Sunday during the 11:00 service, we meet in the café to study a particular book of the Bible. Verse by verse, chapter by chapter, we discuss the readings and encourage each other to live out our lives according to scripture.
