• Elevate Pre-Installation Questionnaire

  • Please fill out this form to help us prepare the necessary parts foor your order.  If you plan to outfit more than one bike, please submit a separate form for each bike.

  • Compatibility Criteria #1

Elevate is currently compatible with frames having the disc brake located above or behind the dropout.  Frames that have the disc brake positioned in front of the dropout / inside the rear triangle are not currently compatible.  If your frame is compatible, please continue filling out this form.  If your frame is not compatible, please contact us to discuss options.

  • Compatibilty Criteria #2

Elevate requires the use of a 4-piston hydraulic brake caliper for clearance with the Rotor-Gear and the Drive Unit (4 piston brake calipers are longer and shallower vs 2-piston calipers being shorter and taller & cable-activated calipers are much larger and bulkier compared to hydraulic calipers).  If you have a 2-piston or cable-activated brake caliper, please be prepared to perform an upgrade. If you have any questions with installing 4 piston calipers please contact us.

  • Compatibilty Criteria #3

Elevate requires an ISO 6-bolt hub interface to attach the Rotor-Gear in place of the existing brake rotor.  If your bike has Centerlock hubs, a Centerlock adapter is needed to install the Rotor-Gear.  If you are already using an adapter with a 6-bolt rotor, it can be reused.  If not, we can provide an adapter for $30.

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • What size rear wheel does your bike have?*
  • How wide is your rear tire?*
  • What size is your current disc brake rotor? If you’re not sure, the size is usually printed directly on the rotor.*
  • What is your rear hub rotor mount? If you’re not sure, include a close up picture of your rotor attachment*
  • If your hub has a Centerlock rotor mount, are you using a Centerlock rotor or an ISO 6-bolt rotor with an adapter?*

  • What size Elevate Rotor-Gear would you like? (Larger provides a little more torque both braking and when using Elevate, a little lower top speed, and is a bit heavier. Smaller is the opposite. For frames with Post Mount brake interface, the rotor size must always be one size larger than the minimum that the frame will allow. For example, frames with 180mm Post Mounts require a 203mm Rotor-Gear and frames with 160mm Post Mounts can use 180mm or 203mm. Frames with ISO brake mounts can use any size)*
  • What do your climbs typically look like (or what do you want to plan for)?
  • Would you like any additional Elevate parts added to your order?
