      Instructor: Sportball

      This is a dynamic sports program where students will play golf, hockey, tennis and volleyball. Primary Classes will apply developmentally appropriate methodology to introduce, practice, and refine motor skills, reinforce teamwork, and prepare your athlete for a future of confident sports participation. Elementary classes will focus on different skills and drills within a specific sport each week to hone in on athleticism, conditioning, and knowledge.

    • Gymnastics (Pre-Primary, Primary & Elementary: Rms 2-11)

      Instructor: Ms. Scarlett

      All students will have a fun and safe time while learning balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and the fundamentals of gymnastics. Children will gain more self-confidence and motivation as they work with the balance beam, floor, parachute, hoops, and ribbons. The gymnastics class will also teach students how to take care of themselves as the instructor promotes proper stretching, a healthy diet, and discipline in exercising.

    • Soccer (Pre-Primary, Primary & Elementary: Rms 2-11)

      Soccer is an excellent source of physical activity and encourages the development of healthy lifestyle habits. Through activities and games, your child's character and attitude will be challenged and molded positively as they learn the elements of teamwork, sharing, communication, and respect. Not to mention it's a lot of fun!

      Students will learn to explore movement using music that encourages the development of their physical skills and nurture their creativity.

    • Ballet & Tap Intro (Primary: Rms 4-6)

      Instructor: Ms. Tanya Q.


      This introductory class is designed specifically for 3 and 4-year-olds. Students will be introduced to basic ballet concepts and tap fundamentals, as well as proper dance vocabulary all in a fun and nurturing environment. Creative movement games and activities will be incorporated to strengthen the understanding of technique and terminology, all while helping to develop fine and gross motor skills. This class is structured to teach interpersonal skills and group dynamics while fostering self-confidence.

    • Ballet & Tap (Primary & Elementary: Rms 4-11)

      Instructor: Ms. Tanya Q.

      Students will learn body alignment, basic positions, and French terminology associated with ballet, as well as introductory tap movements and terminology.

    • Hip Hop & Jazz (Primary & Elementary: Rms 4-11)

      Instructor: Ms. Tanya Q.

      A Jazz & Hip-Hop dance class blends the energetic and expressive elements of jazz dance with the rhythmic and groove-driven styles of Hip-Hop.This class combines both styles into a fun routine that boosts coordination, strength, and flexability, as well as enhances creativity, focus, and confidence while promoting teamwork and cultural awareness.

    • Private/Semi-Private Music Lessons (Primary & Elementary: Rms 4-11)

      In these lessons, students will be introduced to the basic techniques of the instrument. They will learn how to read music and work to build strong foundations in rhythm, melodic playing, ear training, and sight reading. Ms. Nicole will contact you regarding scheduling options.

      Primary lessons are 1 day a week for 45 min. Elementary lessons are 1 day a week for 60 min.

      Age Requirements:

      Guitar - 5 years old and above

      Piano - 3.6 years old and above

      Ukulele - 3.6 years old and above

    • Public Speaking (Primary & Elementary: Rms 4-11)

      Instructor: Ms. Corina

      This personalized speech development course is designed to help a child become more confident in their public speaking ability. Through this private lesson, your child will gain confidence, improve their speech clarity and articulation, and relieve public speaking anxiety.

      Primary lessons are 45 min each. Elementary lessons are 60 min each.

      I understand that by enrolling my child in a School of the Arts class between the hours of 12:30-2:30 PM, my child will be awakened from their nap by a School of the Arts staff in order to participate. Additionally, I understand that the School of the Arts teachers will be taking my child out of the classroom and walking them to and from the scheduled School of the Arts class location. I also acknowledge that IvyCrest’s School of the Arts classes including the location, staff, and children enrolled in the program are not subject to the Department of Social Services licensing guidelines and regulations.

      Names of Persons Authorized to Take Child from Classroom

      Child will not be allowed to leave with any other person without written authorization from parent/guardian or authorized representative.

  • PM Daycare

    Adding PM Daycare is required for the time the child is not enrolled in a SOA class. PM Daycare is also required for siblings of SOA participants if they will also be staying after 3:00 PM and are not enrolled in a SOA class. I acknowledge that my account will be charged accordingly. 

  • School of the Arts Enrollment Agreement (For All Students)

    I understand all School of the Arts classes will take place on-campus, but are taught by School of the Arts personnel. I understand that the tuition and fees associated with School of the Arts classes will be billed to my account monthly. Classes, with the exception of workshops, are continuous until a notice of withdrawal is submitted. I understand the two months notice of withdrawal policy noted in the Parent Handbook. If a class is cancelled by a School of the Arts staff, it will be rescheduled. There is no tuition credit for school events, holidays, illness, vacation, or absences. If I choose to observe my child's class, I understand that I must park at Searchlight Ministries. If my child is not enrolled in PM daycare, and the class is scheduled for after the academic day, I will be required to add PM daycare for the time my child is not enrolled in a School of the Arts class.
