Terms and Conditions

Cakes must be pre-ordered at least 10 days in advance. Order confirmations are subject to booking availability. You will receive confirmation from one of our team members.

Once the cake design, flavour and pricing have been confirmed, no changes may be made to the order unless there are extenuating circumstances and the request can be accommodated.

Important for order pick-ups
- Please have your air conditioning running before collection. The atmosphere should be chilled when transporting the cake.
- Place cake on a flat surface while driving (for example, the passenger front seat floor). It is not recommended to transport the cake on your lap
- Store the cake in the fridge until it's time for cutting.
- After slicing, cover any exposed parts with plastic wrap to keep moisture in.
Delivery

After the cake is delivered it will need to be refrigerated until you are ready to cut and serve it. The cake should only be out for about 30 to 40 minutes and should be refrigerated beyond that time.

Special care should be taken when moving tiered cakes that have been at room temperature for more than 30 minutes.

Once the cake has been picked up or delivered, The Vanilla Orchid is not responsible for any damage, changes, or issues that may occur due to handling, transportation, storage or environmental conditions.
