SAFE-D ARPA Survey

After discussions with the Governor’s office regarding the possible availability of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for Emergency Services Districts, SAFE-D has been tasked with compiling the financial impact ESDs have sustained from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This information will be vital in demonstrating the need for ESDs to be able to access ARPA funds, so please take a minute to answer the short, five-question, survey to the best of your knowledge.

1. How much has your ESD spent on personal protective equipment (PPE) related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

2. How much has your ESD spent on public information efforts related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

3. How much has your ESD spent on virus testing and/or vaccination activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

4. If funds were readily available, how much would your ESD would need to spend on efforts to ensure the continuation of its on public health mission(s) (i.e. reserve power sources/generators, communication equipment, infrastructure projects, etc.)?
