I/we understand that students will be transported in approved vehicles to and from Retreat Locations, including the Cressman Property and Avonhurst Church. I/we further understand that students will be transported in the same vehicles to and from Regina Beach, where Tubing will be available. Drivers of both the vehicles and the boat will be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Staff certified in First-Aid and CPR will be available throughout the weekend.
I/we recognize that tubing and boating has inherent risks that must be assumed to participate in this experience. The inherent risks may arise from foreseeable and unforeseeable dangers, hazards, and other causes. Participation in Tubing and/or use of Tubing equipment may result in injury, illness or other damage.
Knowing and recognizing these facts, I/we choose to go tubing, or allow my child to go tubing, at Regina Beach and expressly assume all of the risks that such activity may present. As required by Avonhurst Church prior to allowing me to participate in this activity, I/we waive my/our rights to pursue or
maintain any and all claims, suits, and demands, actions, causes of action, or recovery of any kind whatsoever against any activity sponsor, including without limitation, Avonhurst Church, it's Staff and Volunteers, and the Cressman Family.
I/we freely choose to participate in all Summer Retreat activities, accepting the risk and responsibility upon myself.
