The support of our entire SLIA community strengthens our educational programs for all of our students!
St. Louis Irish Arts is a non-profit organization that provides the funding & resources which make it possible for the students, teachers & families of St. Louis Irish Arts School to do many things that would not be possible for us through tuition payments alone.
We require that every family with students enrolled in any St. Louis Irish Arts educational program also registers an Annual SLIA Family Membership to the overarching St. Louis Irish Arts organization. Annual SLIA Family Memberships also ensure that all SLIA school students & families are also registered members of our wider international organization - Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.
St. Louis Irish Arts is our local branch of this Ireland-headquartered non-profit. SLIA is one of the largest & most active branches of CCE in North America. Recognizing this, Comhaltas in turn provides our SLIA branch with significant funding & access to resources which have kept our branch growing & thriving since 1973!
Your family's Annual SLIA Family Membership is important to all of us because the 'strength in numbers' of our local SLIA branch helps us provide high quality programs for the students. Your registration also includes quarterly issues of Treior, CCE's quarterly magazine - straight from the Comhaltas head office in Dublin to the mailbox of the address you've provided. Learn more about the history of Comhaltas & it's special connection with St. Louis Irish Arts at slia.org.
