    ($2,500 Scholarship is to be awarded to 1 candidate at each of the two High Schools in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri - 2 Total)

     

    Qualifications to be eligible to apply for the Hoffman Foundation Scholarship are as follows. Candidate must:

    1. be a Senior-Year Student who attends High School at either Ste. Genevieve High School or Valle Catholic High School.

    2. be planning on attending a school of higher learning (college, junior college, trade school, etc...).

     

    Please note:

    The Ste. Genevieve Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society (hereafter referred to as just Conference) reserves the right to award Scholarships to students who have met the above criteria.

    Evaluation Criteria: the applicants applying for the scholarship will be evaluated in four categories, with emphasis placed on those found to be most in need. 

    (Need in this case is defined as the applicant/family that is the closest to the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), as defined by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS Poverty Guidelines for 2022 with Federal Poverty Level figures used can be found here:

    (FN) Financial Need (determined by number in household, household income, etc…)      

    (AP) Academic Performance (Grades, College Prep scores, etc…)                                          

    (SOP) School Organizations Participation (sports, arts, clubs, activities, etc…)
