Currently, the Colfax viaduct has six vehicular travel lanes and an 8-foot wide pathway for people walking and biking. Based on previous community input, the project team is proposing to reduce the number of vehicular travel lanes from six to four. This would increase the amount of space for people walking and biking to 35 feet wide, and allow for additional amenities in this space, including trees and greenery, art, and public seating areas.

On the following pages, we'd like your input on four different design concepts for the proposed 35-foot-wide space for people walking and biking on the Colfax viaduct. Note that these concepts are not mutally exclusive - they could all be included along different parts of the viaduct.
