This session—a text study framed with music—will examine Jewish ideas of physical and spiritual exile to guide us in our own period of re-entry. We will focus on teshuvah, spiritual return or repentance, to help us consider how we can intentionally rebuild our communities. What do we want to carry with us? How do we honor those we have lost? What is our vision for the future?
We will reflect on how we have changed individually and how that drives us to enact change in our communities. Together, we will return to the questions with which our ancestors grappled as we encounter all that is new this season.
Hosted by NYU Hillel: Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life.
