Please work through each table starting with A and check off all that applies to your event each item carries a score add those scores that gives the total for that table then move on to B then C finally add the totals from all three tables and that gives an overall score. At the bottom of this form is a chart that gives suggested numbers of medical staff for your event. (These are just guideline suggested numbers rather than set in stone)!

To calculate the overall score for the event, do the following:

add the scores for the tables 1+2+3 above to give the overall score for the event.

Note: The following is an indication of the resources that may be required to manage an event based on assessment of factors set out in the previous in tables.

It must be noted that this table, in conjunction with the medical chapter of the event safety guide, is not intended to be prescriptive.

The score refers to the suggested resources that should be available on duty at any one time during the event and not the cumulative number of personnel deployed through the duration of the event.
