You are invited to join Princeton's Reform community in the final prayer services of Yom Kippur 2021/5782! We will be reading from the book of Jonah for a short mincha (afternoon) service. And then we will engage with singing, music, and prayer for the Neilah (concluding Yom Kippur) service. Participants will have an opportunity to say what they need to say before the gates figuratively close and Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar, concludes.
At the end of our service, we will blow the shofar and then mark the separation between Yom Kippur and the weekday with a musical havdalah service. People from all affiliations, backgrounds, and identities are warmly invited to join us!
Gmar chatima tova - may you and your loved ones be inscribed and sealed in the Book of Life.
Facilitated by Rabbi Ira Dounn and hosted by Princeton Hillel: Center for Jewish Life.
