    Triad Cultural Arts African American Heritage Tours
    We are honored to share the rich history of Winston-Salem through our guided tours and interpretive experiences. Because each tour requires advance preparation, staffing, and logistical coordination, the following policies ensure clarity and fairness for all guests.

    Securing Your Tour Date
    Group Tours
    A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation and secure your tour date.
    The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled tour.
    For school groups and nonprofit partners, deposit flexibility (25–50%) may be available upon request.
    Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit is received. Lack of final payment will make your reservation subject to cancellation.

    Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
    Because we commit guides, transportation, and resources in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:
    ● 14 or more days before the tour:
    Deposit may be transferred to a new date within six (6) months, subject to availability.
    ● 7–13 days before the tour:
    50% of the total tour fee is retained.
    ● Less than 7 days before the tour:
    No refunds will be issued.

    Day-of Tour Cancellations & No-Shows
    ● No refunds are issued for no-shows.
    ● Late arrivals may result in a shortened tour experience without price adjustment.

    Weather Policy
    Walking tours operate rain or shine. We encourage guests to dress appropriately for weather conditions.
    In cases of severe or unsafe weather, Triad Cultural Arts will work with your group to reschedule at no additional charge.

    Public Tours & Individual Tickets
    For ticketed public tours:
    ● Full payment is required at the time of booking.
    ● Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance will receive tour credit for a future date within six months.
    ● Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour are non-refundable.

    As a community-based cultural nonprofit, your deposit secures our professional guides, research preparation, transportation coordination, and preservation efforts. Your support allows us to continue telling the stories that matter.
