AFSA is pleased to present this year’s Fall Sessions in two locations:
- Edmonton – Tuesday, October 21
- Calgary – Thursday, October 23
Each day will feature two half-day programs designed to strengthen professional skills in funeral service.
Morning Sessions (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Module 1: The Nature of Customer Service in Funeral Care
- Module 2: Communication Barriers & Family Dynamics
- Module 3: Handling Emotional Distress, Anger, & Abuse
Afternoon Sessions (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- Module 4: Assertive but Compassionate Communication
- Module 5: Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Basics
- Module 6: Body Language in Sensitive Situations

Lunch and coffee breaks are included with all registrations.
These sessions are open to all AFSA member firms and their employees at no charge.
