    In-Person/Live Virtual Workshops

    Flushing Town Hall (FTH)’s arts education programs captivate imaginations, broaden students’ arts and cultural experiences and support their social and emotional learning. 

    In-person workshops start at $225/ 75 minutes for 30 participants max at Flushing Town Hall, or $275/ 75 minutes for 30 participants max at your site.  Live virtual workshops start at $150/ 45 minutes for 30 participants max. Additional fees may be applied for supplies or additional participants. Our workshops are available for school classes, organizations, and family groups.  

    Full payment or the issue of purchase order is due 30 days after the reservation date or the issue of work order. If the reservation is made less than one month prior to the event, payment is due seven calendar days before the workshop date. We accept checks, money orders, credit cards and DOE Purchase Orders. Please make all checks payable to Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts. Upon receipt of full payment, a confirmation will be issued. No programs will be admitted without advance payment.

Our Education Team will work with you to confirm your preferred programs and dates; but not all programs and dates are available at all times. You will receive a response within 10 business days with details about your request.  Thank you for your interest in our programs!

     


  • Preferred Workshop

    Please select the workshop that you would like to reserve from the offerings below. If you have not decided the program yet, please select up to 3 programs that you are interested in and we will help you find the right program that fits your group's needs. 




  • Flushing Town Hall Health and Safety Policy for In-Person Programs 

    To reserve an in-person program, partner schools agree to provide a safe environment which includes: good air quality, social distancing as needed and adherence to the latest safety policies and procedures for students and FTH teaching artists and staff.

    FTH Teaching artists are required to self-monitor their health and contact FTH staff and partner schools immediately if unwell. The school agrees to communicate any important health issues or outbreaks that the school community is experiencing. 

    School agrees to inform FTH teaching artists of all emergency procedures for the school in general, as well as the specific space that the FTH teaching artist is working in, including emergency exits, locked rooms, and safe rooms.

  • Schedule Change & Cancellation & No Show

    Schedule Change: You are welcome to change the date and/or time at least 7 business days prior to the reserved program date. Please contact the Education Representative as soon as possible and allow up to one week for re-scheduling. You can only change the schedule for once.

    Severe Weather: If the in-person program is canceled due to inclement weather, we will make every attempt to re-schedule the program, or credit you to a different program, subject to availability.

    Cancellation: If you cancel your reservation at least 15 business days prior to the reserved program start date, your school will be reimbursed. If you cancel after that, your full payment will be donated to the FTH education program and teaching artist.

    No Show: Refunds are not possible for absences. If you fail to show up on the day of the program, your full payment will be donated to the FTH education program and teaching artist.
