  • Flushing Town Hall COVID Safety Policy for In-Person Programs

To reserve an in-person program, partner schools agree to provide a safe environment which includes: good air quality, social distancing, and adherence to the latest COVID safety policies and procedures for students and FTH teaching artists and staff.

Partner school teachers will make sure students follow the DOE safety guidelines including keeping masks on and social distancing during the entire program.

If an individual (student, teacher, assistant teachers, etc.) in a class that a FTH teaching artist is working with tests COVID-positive, then the teachers and administration will notify the FTH teaching artist and staff as soon as possible.

FTH Teaching artists are required to self-monitor for symptoms and contact FTH staff and partner schools immediately if they have COVID. The school agrees to communicate a positive test to those at the school who may have been exposed.
