    For Bridal Trials...

     

    How to prep for your bridal preview appointment. 

     

    1. Please come with CLEAN, DRY hair! 

    If your hair is on the finer side, I recommend washing the day of your appointment.  If you have a coarse texture you can wash the day of or the day before. Using a moisturizing shampoo is always preferable. Shampoo your scalp only. Let the suds run down but do not scrub into your ends. 

     

    2. Please DO NOT CONDITION your hair. This ensures the best outcome for styling. This means leave in Conditioners too. 

     

    3. Please come with minimal product in your hair. Mousse is a great product to add volume and texture to your hair. No Conditioners, oils or serums. 

     

    4. Please blow dry your hair with a brush. This ensures a smooth canvas for me to work with. 

     

    5. Please don't put your hair into a scrunchie or hair tie of any kind. Claw clips are fine but no top knots. 

     

    6. Please don't come with your hair pre straightened or curled. 

     

    7. Wear a white top that has as similar a neckline as your dress as possible. This helps us see what the style will look like. 

     

    8. Bring any jewelry you plan to wear the day of the wedding. 

     

    9. Bring any hair accessories you plan to wear for the big day. 

     

    10. Bring extensions if you plan to use them. Please note that putting in extensions will add $30 to yiour appointment. Extensions are highly recommended for any down style.

    Policies and Procedures

     

    Covid 19

    I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
    I further acknowledge that Gemma Sherman has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, and all other communicable diseases/infections.
    I further acknowledge that Gemma Sherman can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19 or any other communicable disease/infection.
    I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 or any other disease/infection may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, salon staff, and other salon clients and their families.

    I voluntarily seek services provided by Gemma Sherman and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my appointment.

    I attest that:
    * I am not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
    * I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
    * I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    * I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities.
    * I am following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    Cancellation Policy:
    Any appointment not cancelled within 48 Hrs of the scheduled date and time falls under my cancellation policy protocol. You will be charged 25% to your card on file of what the scheduled services were valued at. Any no call no show appointment will be charged 50% to your card on file of what the scheduled services were valued at
    Saved Payment Method:
    All guests' payment methods are safely and securely stored on file using my POS system.. My POS system uses Stripe, the world’s leading secure and PCI compliant online payment processor.


    REDO POLICY 
    If you would like something regarding your service that was spoken about in the consultation tweaked after leaving your scheduled appointment, I will be pleased to accommodate you free of charge in most circumstances. For said complimentary service to be done, this request must be made within 7 days of your initial appointment. This does not apply to your husband or friend not liking your hair. Please if you're unhappy tell me before you leave my chair and I will do all I can to help.


    PRODUCTRETURN POLICY 
    A very lightly used product may be returned within 2 weeks of purchase. Make sure to reach out to me with your concerns as soon as possible after using the product​.


    SALON ETIQUETTE 
    Discriminatory/Derogatory statements & actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated.


    By reading and agreeing to this statement I have read and understood all of Gemma Shermans Policies found in the Digital Welcome Packet and stated in this memo. I agree to have my payment info saved and stored securely.
    I also understand that Gemma Sherman and I will have an in depth conversation speaking about all aspects of today's appointment, in which I agree to and acknowledge including price, and the expected physical and aesthetic results.
    I hereby release and agree to hold Gemma Sherman harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the salon, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Gemma Sherman. I understand that this release discharges Gemma Sherman from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the salon with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from Gemma Sherman. This liability waiver and release extends to the salon together with all owners, partners, and employees.
