Safety Provisions
All participants (racers, handlers, spectators, volunteers) are required to follow these safety provisions when attending any CDMA event - Please read carefully.
Registration: All registration for CDMA events will be online; no late or in-person registrations will be allowed.
Face coverings: All participants over the age of 2 will be required to wear face masks or coverings at all times in the parking lot and staging area. Both mouth and nose must be completely covered. On the trail, mask or face covering will be used when within 10 feet of another individual (e.g., during a pass).
Parking: Each racing team will park in a marked space adjacent to the starting posts, allowing a distance of at least 12 feet between competitors.
Social Distancing: Race crews (including handlers, family members, and guests) will maintain 6 feet of separation from other individuals not part of their race crew.
Race Start: CDMA will not provide assistance at the start line for teams. Each racer must be able to handle their own team. Racers and their crew are solely responsible for handling their dog team at race start.
Indoor spaces: Use of the clubhouse, timing tower, and equipment storage area is limited to authorized CDMA Board members and volunteers.
*Participants of any CDMA event include all persons present on CDMA premises during an event, regardless of membership status in CDMA. CDMA premises include the two parking lots and staging areas, sled dog trail system, clubhouse and timing tower at Beach Lake Park.
