  • Peter Craig Breen
    Memorial Scholarship in Science

Peter Breen's aspirations and his love of chemistry, math, and music live on through this scholarship established in 2016 with gifts from his family and friends. Peter, a 2010 CV graduate, was humble with a kind and gentle spirit. He would assist anyone who needed his help and was happiest when tutoring classmates or younger students. Peter attended the Pennsylvania State University and did undergraduate research focusing on RNA and computational chemistry. After his death in March 2014, Penn State conferred a B.S. degree in Chemistry with honors (posthumously). His family and friends hope this scholarship will help support students in science to make a positive difference in our world.
