What will you be using for your send off? Examples of exit plan ideas include...Biodegradable things such bubbles, dried leaves, lavender, rose petals, or any options without dye. Please make sure your exit plan ideas such as rose petals are not colored due to the potential of staining the bridge or polished concrete floors. Fiberoptic and lit foam wands are also an option. Pop out streamer tubes are also an option if the streamers are attached to the tubes and disposed of after use. We apologize, confetti is not allowed regardless if it is biodegradable for the sake of the weddings following yours. Please no sparklers or any type of send off that puts off heat due to the fire hazard. Please do not use fog machines. The smoke will set off our smoke alarms. Dry ice is allowed but but be pre-approved prior to use. Cold sparklers are also allowed but must be pre-approved prior to use. *

The venue rental is 15 hours from 9am to 12am unless it is an elopement or additional time has been reserved. Please allow at least 1 hour to breakdown and load everything that is brought in. This could take longer depending on how much help you have. Music must stop 1 hour prior to reserved end time.*

I understand that the checklist must be signed and all personal items removed prior to unless additional time was purchased.
For the sake of your family do you have designated family/friends to load your vehicles? We recommend 6-8 people for breakdown and loading personal items. There are companies that provide these services as well. If you would like us to provide a recommendation let us know. Also, at the end of the event it is beneficial to have enough vehicles to carry all the decorations, left over food, personal belongings etc. that were brought in.*

Yes. We have at least 6-8 designated friends/family that will help break down. Also, we have designated vehicles that will carry out all that was brought in.No, however we will work on asking friends and family to assist with breakdown and also make sure we have enough vehicles to carry out everything that was brought in.
Will you be using any of our furniture outside? We will set up and break down our tables and chairs indoors. However, we do not set up our tables and chairs outdoors for the sake of not having them left outside overnight. We ask that if our tables and chairs are used outside, they will be set up by you and also brought inside before the rental period is over. Also, please check to make sure the legs are clean before brought in.*

For final cleanup you will be provided an exit checklist. Basically, wiping off tables/counters, take in/wipe down any Merrick Hollow outdoor furniture, wipe up any obvious spills, remove any items brought in (including flowers on arbor, petals that have been spread, litter on the grounds, wedding signs or any decorations in the ceremony area). We suggest having someone check the outdoor area for trash, petals or anything in the ceremony area or parking lot while it is still light outside. We provide trash bags however, ALL trash needs to be taken to the dumpster located on the South side entrance. We will break down the tables and chairs. Your coordinator or venue director will provide you with an exit checklist and place for signature upon completion. If all personal items are not removed or the exit checklist requirements have not been met during the time reserved the couple will be charged a $500 fee. Who will be designated to check off and sign the checkout list? Pease let this person know that you have designated them.*
Merrick Hollow offers an additional Event Cleaning Service for $325. This will include...

-2 person cleaning crew

-Wipe off all tables and countertops

-Take in and wipe down any Merrick Hollow Outdoor Furniture

-Wipe up any obvious spills

-Assist in gathering decorations and personal items

-Load all boxed items into vehicles

-Assist in loading decorations or personal items into cars that are not able to be boxed

-Remove any itms outdoors including flowers on arbor, trash on ground, wedding signs or any decorations in the ceremony area

-ALL trash will be taken to the dumpster located on the South side entrance
