KKOM Operational Cost Campaign
Greetings,
Philadelphia’s poverty rate has been declining. The largest city in Pennsylvania and the home to many of the United States firsts - library, hospital, and medical school, to name a few - has battled with its poverty levels for years and currently has one double the national average. The City of Brotherly Love, though, in the last couple of years, has experienced a positive shift. Though we are still considered one of the poorest of the largest U.S. cities, studies show that our poverty numbers are slowly but surely going down, and we’d like to think your constant support of generous people like you has a lot to do with it.
Kingdom Keepers Outreach Ministries, our 501c3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 2017 to help combat the issues of homelessness and poverty in our community while keeping the dignity intact of our neighbors in need. Year after year, we actively support our mission to unite people of diverse backgrounds by providing services to our community while inspiring and empowering others. On the second and fourth Saturday of every month, we provide services to the Logan Square area of Center City Philadelphia. The marketplace allows people to shop for clothing, hygiene products, and grab-and-go meals at no cost to them. Additionally, our annual Christmas Day project allows family and friends to come together for hot meals and drinks and grab winter care packages that include new sneakers, socks, hats, thermals, and gloves. This upcoming year will be our 6th event, and we feel blessed every day that we can continue our efforts to give back to our community.
We are humbly asking for your investment in our organization. No donation is too small, and every gift impacts our community. Your gift will help us continue working alongside our community members and lowering poverty. We cannot do this without your help! We appreciate your consideration of our request and thank you in advance for your generous heart.
Sincerely,
Michael Cunningham
