Basically, if you think there's something writers can learn from you, pitch it. We want to read it. We accept how to’s, listicles, essays, and various forms and writing styles. We love diversity. We encourage you to meter your story as part of the Medium Partner Program, which means you will be paid for your work directly by Medium, but we still accept public (non-paywall) pieces if you want to publish that way (or the MPP isn't available in your country). *Please note* Moving forward (as of 12/08/2021) we will be considering new writers specifically on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
