In particular, we're looking for news organizations that have the capacity to identify their challenges and to sustain transformational efforts over time - with help from our expert coaches and trainers.
Who should fill out this form? A leader in the organization with decision-making authority, or their delegate.
How long does the program last? Table Stakes is a year-long commitment. The new cohort will get started in November 2022. The program will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual meetings, based on public health guidance.
What does it cost? This program is heavily subsidized thanks to support from the Knight Foundation, but news organizations must pay a sliding scale fee according to organization size. (Organizations can request that their fee be waived, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
- Less than $1 million in annual revenue: $1,500
- $1 million to $3 million in annual revenue: $3,000
- More than $3 million in annual revenue: $4,500
When is the deadline? Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, so don't wait. As a first step, reach out to Erica Perel or Sarah Vassello at the Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media.
