TERMS AND AGREEMENTS
This agreement is to verify your participation in the Black Market Pop-up Shop in Baton Rouge. Small business vendors are permitted to bring displays, props, tables, and chairs, and stands.
Only two people per table and all vendors must wear a mask and practice Covid-19 Safe practices. We encourage vendors to be as unique as they please with your display, however, loud music is prohibited. Indoor Vendors are advised to keep products and exhibits to an 8’x8’ display size and outdoor 10'X10'. Larger displays should give prior notice to the event coordinator. Signing this agreement dictates your responsibility to promote the event on Saturday, October 30th at the Jewels J Newman Community Center.
The vendor agrees that The Black Market Pop-up Shop is not liable or responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur while vendors, volunteers, or patrons are on the exposition floor/outdoors. In addition, The Black Market Pop-up shop assumes no liability or responsibility for any effects small business vendor products may have on patrons. Each vendor holds responsibility and liability for their own products and product effects.
In addition, Vendors will have access to event space as early as 10:00 am no later than 11am The event concludes at 5:00 pm and vendors have until 6:00 pm for break down. Participation in the Black Market Shop the vendors are under The Black Market Special Event Permit but vendors are responsible for all payments received for their products and services and by your own merit will file city and state tax under their own occupational license.
Vendors must pay the registration fee before vending space is reserved. The vendor is chosen on a first come first serve basis by the order of payment as well as by your responsibility to promote the event. Vending areas have an equal amount of visibility. There are no terrible spaces.
Show management pre-selects vendor space for each small business based on your products, however, vendors reserve the right to request a different space, although it is not guaranteed. Payment shall be made directly through PayPal or with any major credit card.
Registration fees are non-refundable. In the event of a proven accident, riot, strike, epidemic, an act of God, or any other legitimate condition or occurrence beyond their respective control, that forces the Black Market Pop-up to be rescheduled for a date to be determined. Any PERSONAL changes are not in our control and monies will not be refunded. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event. Only if the event is canceled by The Black Market Pop-up Shop this contract is null and void and vendors will receive a full refund.
Small business vendors are entitled to use the name, likenesses, and other promotional materials provided by The Alchemist Table LLC. As a registered vendor we ask that if you could submit a promotional item, i.e., coupon, business card, flyer, etc., as giveaways During the Black Market Event.
