Puppy Contract

This contract is legally binding. By putting your initials and signature on this contract you are agreeing to its full content. If there is something you do not agree with or understand you must contact the breeder ahead of time. As a puppy owner, if you break this contract Isha's Oodles Of Doodles has the legal right to repossess the dog for the dogs safety without a refund of money paid for the dog.
IF For the remainder of this form Isha's oodles of doodles will be referred to as Breeder and the person responsible for following this contract will be referred to as the puppy buyer. The puppy buyer must sign the bottom of this contract and initial the right hand side of each section stating that you understand each section.

This contract is being entered into by Isha's Oodles Of Doodles and Melissa Rosen & Loren Michelin the puppy buyer for the purchase of a puppy for the amount of $1,500.00 to be paid before puppy will be relinquished to the puppy buyer. Payments will be as follows: A non refundable deposit of 300.00 to hold a puppy for the puppy buyer until the puppy is at least 8 weeks of age. The balance must be paid in cash to breeder at the time of pick up. Signature
There is a 1 year health guarantee that comes with every puppy, the health guarantee covers genetic issues only. This guarantee is void if the puppy buyer does not follow recommendations from the breeder in this contract. The breeder will either pay for any medical bills left after insurance has paid their part or the buyer has the right to surrender puppy for a full refund or pick from a future litter. Please initial stating that you understand and agree with this statement. *
Puppy buyer must bring the puppy to their vet within 48 hrs of picking up the puppy. The ONLY time this will not be required is if the puppy buyers travel will take more than 48hrs. A puppy buyer will have a pick up date early enough so that a vet appointment is able to be made in advance. Please initial stating you understand and agree with this statement.*
Puppy buyer agrees to sign a spay/neuter contract with the Breeder stating that you understand your puppy will be pet only (unless otherwise discussed with breeder) If your puppy will have breeding rights please do not initial the box but place an N/A in the following box.*
Spaying/neutering SHould be scheduled to be done by 1 year of age and proof of said appointment sent to breeder and proof of surgery sent as well to not void contract.*
Puppy buyer agrees to keep the puppy up to date on all shots, deworming, health checks through its entire life. This includes but is not limited to puppy shots, yearly (or 3 years) rabies shot, yearly boosters, yearly wellness check and vet appts when it is needed if the dog gets sick or injured. If this is not followed through, any issue that could be hereditary but wasnt found because of lack of vet care will not be covered under the health guarantee. Please initial stating you understand and agree with this statement.*
Puppy buyer agrees to have insurance or a payment plan option (example would be care credit) for their puppies care. These big babies are extra expensive and insurance is a way to keep your new baby healthy and happy. Please initial stating that you understand and agree with this statement.*
Puppy buyer will not rehome the puppy or allow it to go into a shelter without notifying the breeder. If for any reason the puppy buyer can not keep their dog for the entirety of its life the breeder must be informed through up to 3 different avenues including (E-mail, Facebook Messanger, text message, phone call or certified mail) to ensure the breeder has been contacted before any other decisions can be made on rehoming a dog.
