RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR FOSTER VOLUNTEERS
- The animal you are fostering is 100% your responsibility. They are to be a part of your family, not on a chain, in a crate, or locked in a room. Daily exercise is very important.
- You are responsible to provide nutritious food and fresh water every day.
- If there is a medical emergency, you are to contact Gabi at 801-916-3924 or a leadership member.
- If the animal is lost or injured due to your negligence, any costs that are incurred will be your responsibility. If the dog or cat is lost, you will be held responsible for the adoption fee. If there is a problem of any kind with the animal, you are to notify A New Beginning Animal Rescue immediately.
- The animals are to be at Petco at Noon on Saturday and picked up no later than 5:00 PM. You must check in with an ANBAR supervisor when leaving and picking up the animal.
- The animals are to be well groomed and clean when dropped off at Petco.
- All foster animals must be pre-approved by A New Beginning Animal Rescue - No strays.
- You cannot adopt out any animal on your own, every adoption has to go through A New Beginning Animal Rescue.
- If fostering a dog, you are required to have a fenced yard and appropriate shelter at all times.
- If you have animals of your own and want to foster, you must not exceed the number of animals your city or county allows.
I AGREE TO THE REQUIREMENTS STATED WITHIN THIS AGREEMENT TO TEMPORARILY FOSTER A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL IN MY HOME. I UNDERSTAND THAT A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL RESCUE WILL PAY FOR ANY PRE- APPROVED VETERINARY EXPENSES. ALL OTHER EXPENSES WILL BE MY RESPONSIBILTY. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE ANIMALS ARE UNPREDICTABLE AND COULD SCRATCH OR BITE ANYONE AT ANYTIME. I WILL NOT HOLD A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL RESCUE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THE ANIMAL IN MY FOSTER CARE. A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL RESCUE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INSPECT FOSTER HOMES AT ANY REASONABLE TIME AND IF REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT BEING FULFILLED,HAS THE RIGHT TO PULL THE ANIMAL FROM THE FOSTER HOME TO BE PLACED ELSEWHERE. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL RESCUE HAS THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TME. A 48-HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO BE GIVEN TO A NEW BEGINNING ANIMAL RESCUE IF THERE BECOMES A PROBLEM AND THE ANIMAL NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AT THE FOSTER'S REQUEST.
