1. Cancellation/No Show Policy for Therapy Appointment
We understand that there are times when your child must miss an appointment due to emergencies, illness, or obligations for work or family. If you know your child will miss an appointment our team asks that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hour notice by email (hello@bettertogetheridaho.com), or phone (208-600-0722). You can also ask to reschedule your appointment or ask about makeup options with your regular therapist or another treating therapist.
In the event of two missed sessions within a three month period, we will send a gentle reminder. Should there be three missed sessions within the same timeframe, we will discuss the development of an attendance improvement plan or explore the possibility of rescheduling your child's weekly appointment. An accrual of four or more cancellations over a period of three months will result in your child being taken off the schedule.
After two appointments with no show/no calls, the child's ongoing appointment time(s) with the respective therapist will be cancelled. Options to resume therapy services in the future will be offered when a more consistent schedule can be arranged and an attendance plan is signed.
2. Scheduled Appointments
We understand that delays can happen however, we must be respectful of other clients and therapists. If you are running late, a phone call when you are your way is appreciated. If your child arrives 5 minutes past their scheduled time, we may have to reschedule/cancel the appointment.

By signing this document, I have agreed to the information provided concerning cancellations. I understand that if my child no shows with no call to two or more appointments, my child's weekly treatment time will be suspended.
