ACTIVE EXPRESSIONS ART ACADEMY is hosting a DRIVE THROUGH BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY in Spartanburg this coming weekend.

The event will be held on Spartanburg's Southside, Saturday August 14, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 2040B South Church St Ext Spartanburg,SC 20306.

The event will be open to residents in the Arkwright Community. Supplies are limited.

Volunteers plans to hand out 25 Bags stuffed with essentials such as art supplies, markers, crayons, colored pencils, notebooks, pencils and hand sanitizers, and information about useful resources in the area.

Organizers say they hope to help families in need who are preparing for the upcoming school year.

Our Organization realize that this is a big need in our community, especially during COVID-19. We realize that for students and their families this may be a greater need, and we want to be able to help them kick off their school year!

Children are not required to be present in the car with parents. However, parents in vehicles without children will be limited to only one bag.
