Dr. Robinson has joined our team to perform "admit" appointments in order to better serve the needs of our community. She has the flexibility to see critically ill or injured patients, as well as wellness and general examinations. This cuts down our appointment wait list and provides a great service to the Morongo Basin.
Your pet has been scheduled for an "admit" appointment. This means that you will leave your pet with us, during which your pet will be given bedding, water, walked (if needed), and examined by the doctor. The doctor will call you with the exam findings and get permission for any treatments needed. After any treatments have been performed, you will be notified that you can come pick up your pet.
Please note that pets who are admitted to the hospital will be triaged and critically ill pets will be given priority. This may result in healthy pets staying in our hospital for the duration of the day. However, pets who are anxious in their kennel will be examined and released to go home sooner than those who aren't. We are unable to predict when your pet will be ready to go home.
While we close our doors at 5:00pm each day, Dr. Robinson is willing to stay late to discharge pets if needed.
If you would prefer to be present for an examination of your pet by the doctor, please reschedule your appointment.
