The following will describe the various hockey levels the BHL offers.
• Advanced: Advanced Leagues are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the fall/winter season and Wednesday and Thursdays during the Summer. Typically A to Hi-B level.
- An advanced player is defined as someone who plays or has played at the following skill levels in the last five (5) years: College Varsity, College Junior Varsity, College Club, Juniors, Professional or Semi-professional. Players 40 years of age and older are exempt from these criteria.
• Intermediate: Intermediate Leagues are offered on Fridays and Sundays during the Fall/Winter Seasons and on Sundays and Tuesdays (30+ League) during the Summer season. Intermediate league is typically Mid B to Mid C levels. BHL Intermediate nights are good, fast hockey. These leagues are geared towards players who have significant hockey experience but not at the level of advanced league. *Intermediate League Teams may carry a small number of 'advanced level' players on their roster.
• Novice League: This league only takes individual registrations. Players may request teammates but full teams are not allowed.
