  • COURSE REQUIREMENTS

    1. Minimum of 80 Anatomy & Physiology class hours. 80 hours can consist of the following: Live Class Instruction, Online A&P Videos, Online Class Discussions, Reading A&P Course Materials, Completing all A&P Guided Study Quizzes, and Completing all A&P Worksheets.
    2. Complete 50 full Foot Zones
    3. Pass each board exam with an 80% or higher Board Exams:
    1. Foot Zone Orientation Points (online)
    2. Foot Zone History (online)
    3. The Professional FZ Practitioner (online)
    4. Anatomy Worksheets Part 1 (online)
    5. Anatomy Worksheets Part 2 (online)
    6. Foot Zone Mapping (in class)
    7. Anatomy & Physiology (online)
    8. Pass off the Foot Zone Practical with a qualified Foot Zone Instructor or Facilitator. (in class)

    4. All homework and board exams must be finished within the course’s allotted time set forth by Wellness Life Zone (WLZ) or another foot zone training program approved by WLZ

  • CLASS POLICIES & PROCEDURES DISCLOSURE

    • Be here and ready to start class on time. Please contact the instructor if you are going to miss or be late to class
      Turn cell phones off
    • 1 break provided during AM & PM hours
    • 1-hour lunch break
    • Please leave the classroom for any personal business
    • As with all trade schools and colleges, no babies or children are allowed in class. It is distracting to other students who have invested in this course, as well as the instructors who are teaching.
    • Tuition is due-in-full 10 days prior to the start of class to allow for payment processing and class assignments to be completed before the start of class
    • If any instructional class time is missed, it is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements with WLZ or approved foot zone training program by WLZ to make that class time up. WLZ Instructor rate is $75 per hour. However, keep in mind that most class instructions can be accessed and made-up online.
    • If a student wishes to have additional tutoring with the WLZ instructor outside of assigned class time, then the student can arrange for that extra time with the instructor at $70 per hour.
    • If a student has chosen to be trained by another foot zone training program, approved by WLZ, that training program’s class policies, procedures and agreement disclosures may differ. Please check with your training program for additional requirements. If you have any scheduling, teaching, and/or fee disputes, it is between you and your chosen foot zone training program, not WLZ.

  • AGREEMENT DISCLOSURE

  • 1. I understand that payment is to be made to WLZ or your foot zone training program approved by WLZ. WLZ does not process payments from students of other approved training programs.  *

  • 2. I understand that because all course material and online student resources will be open to me, that tuition is due-in-full prior to the start of class.  *

  • 3. I understand that because I will be taught the complete advanced foot zone technique during Jumpstart and that it will also be available to me online, that no refund will be granted. *

  • 4. I understand and agree that I will complete the course within the scheduled time that WLZ has set forth. If I have chosen to obtain my training with another foot zone training program, approved by WLZ, then I will agree to complete that program at their scheduled time frame. (Please check with their schedules).  *

  • 5. I understand that the online foot zone certification portion of this course will be open and available to me for 1 years’ time. The beginning of the online course will start upon making payment-in-full for the course. *

  • 6. I understand that if any discount or scholarship is given it is at the discretion of your approved foot zone training program.  *

  • 7. Cost of the WLZ foot zone certification course is non-transferable *

  • 8. I understand that the board exams are divided into eight parts. Six of them are online and two of them are in person. If the foot zone mapping and practical exam are missed, then it is up to the student to reschedule this exam. Times and prices to makeup these exams may vary. Please check with your training program. *

  • INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DISCLOSURE

  • 1. I understand and certify at this time that I am not an instructor or owner of another foot zone/reflexology training program, nor do I plan on being in the next 3 years.   *   

  • 2. I understand that it is never permissible, nor will I show/lend/share/copy/teach the WLZ Foot Zone Technique or any other WLZ intellectual property, including to friends, family, and fellow foot zone practitioners/reflexologist of this industry *

  • 3. I understand If I have completed the foot zone certification course requirements by WLZ, or another training program approved by WLZ, that WLZ or my approved training program, will issue a Certificate of Completion in the Advanced Foot Zone Technique either in paper or PDF format *

  • LEGAL REQUIREMENTS DISCLOSURE

  • 1.I understand that the WLZ foot zone training program DOES meet the standards of certification as required by the Utah Foot Zone Association along with Utah State requirements and chose to adhere to massage law and practices as closely as possible, and where applicable. If I do not reside in the State of Utah, it is my responsibility to make sure that this training will qualify me to meet the standards of certification in my State and/or local government wherein I reside.    *   

  • 2. I understand it is my responsibility to check with my local and State laws and abide by them if I choose to pursue this modality as a business, and do not hold Wellness Life Zone, LLC responsible for any unlawful actions on my part.    *   

  • 3. I understand that in order to work legally in the state of Utah I need to be “industry recognized” by one of the associations approved by the Department of Occupational Professional Licensing (DOPL). The Utah Foot Zone Association is approved and recognized by DOPL *

  • 4. I understand that if I reside in another state, that I can still join and become a member of the Utah Foot Zone Association and take advantage of its educational and foot zone practitioner directory benefits. *

  • 5. I understand and know what it means to always work within my “scope of practice”. I will make clear to my clients the differences between each modality that I have received, including foot zone therapy, from each of my certified or licensed training programs. *

  • STUDENT EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE

  •  I understand that if I am unable to complete my Foot Zone course within the allotted one-year timeframe due to unforeseen emergencies or circumstances, and I still wish to finish the course, I agree to pay a $400 renewal fee. This fee will extend my access for one additional year and will include live class sessions, monthly Zoom meetings, and online student resources. I also understand that if there are any updates to the course books or curriculum, I will be responsible for purchasing those updated materials, and that costs for updated books may vary.

  • CONFIDENTIALITY OF RECORDS

  • 1. I understand that my personal and contact information that is given to Wellness Life Zone can be used to inform and enlighten me regarding any courses, seminars, events and products sold or promoted by Wellness Life Zone, LLC: Name, address, phone/cell numbers, email, and all social media.  *

  • 2. I give permission to release any of my information pertaining to my foot zone training that is required by the State of Utah, any other State in which I reside, or approved Foot Zone Associations.  *

  • 3. Any of my personal information given to foot zone training programs approved by WLZ is the responsibility of that training program *
