The Green Affordable Housing Program (GAHP) is a USGBC-LA initiative developed to help deliver community resources for reducing energy and water use while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH) in the Eastern San Fernando Valley.
The 20 selected multi-family properties will receive:
Workshops and coffee talks in English and Spanish for owners and tenants covering occupant health and sustainable practices to help reduce utility costs;
Help with enrollment in the LADWP FREE programs and rebates;
Installation of community EV charging stations; and
Placement of green building technology to improve occupants health, save energy and reduce utility costs
* Eligible properties must be located in the East San Fernando Valley within these zip codes and have a minimum of 20 units.
