LaunchJOCO Mentor Application
If you are a business owner, entrepreneur, community leader, or someone who wants to give to those in the early stages of business, then being a LaunchJOCO Mentor is for you! Having a successful mentor relationship can play a critical role in the future success of our students and can be extremely fulfilling for the mentor. Once mentors are chosen, they will be matched to their mentee based on both personality fit and mentee's business needs. Your minimum commitment is expected to be about one hour per week/four hours per month; however, because mentoring needs and styles vary, your investment can be as much as you and the mentee desire. If selected, you must attend Mentor Match Night on March 31st from 5:30-9 p.m.; Mentor Orientation on April 16 from 6-8 p.m.; and EMBARK event (Class of 2026 Graduation & 2027 Class Reveal) on Nov. 17, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.

Mentor Commitment
I understand that if I am selected as a mentor that I am expected to make every attempt to be fully present and available to assist my LaunchJOCO student for at least 6 months following that students completion of the business education curriculum. I understand that my commitment to being a mentor is what will allow my student to receive the full benefit of the program and therefore set them up to successfully open/grow their business.
